PastPort Yarra

Pastport Yarra

Fitzroy Town Hall, 201 Napier Street, Fitzroy

Join us to celebrate Yarra's heritage at our PastPort Yarra launch at Fitzroy Town Hall on Tuesday 9 October from 6pm to 8pm.

PastPort Yarra is our new mobile website where you can share and discover the rich history and memories of Yarra.

PassPort was originally developed as part of the ARC Discovery Project “Citizen Heritage” held in the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning and the School of Computing and Information Systems at the University of Melbourne. Read more about the Citizen Heritage project.

Come along to the Reading Room at Fitzroy Town Hall to find out how you can contribute your unique stories and celebrate Yarra's heritage.

There will be a brief demonstration and talks from Wally Smith, David Nichols, Hannah Lewi and Andrew Murray, and the City of Yarra.

Refreshments will be provided.

This event is free, although you must register.

PastPort has been developed in partnership with the University of Melbourne and Yarra Libraries.
